2.In what ways did you act as “ambassadors” or spokesmen in the “Doors to Diplomacy”?
We looked up a large amount of information in the process of studying this activity; especially search many typical cases online. We also interviewed relevant government departments. In addition, we also produced a carbon emissions calculator for family, so that our students and community could participate in to stimulate the behavior of their low-carbon life. Most importantly more people understand the significance of low-carbon economy and of low-carbon life by our action.
3.What the influence to the local community by this project you have participated in?
Our students including many people in our community have understood the concept of low-carbon and have more understanding of low carbon economy and low-carbon life by our research. These people with me participate in the practice of low-carbon life together and actively promote to influence people around us, so that low-carbon Ideas can be spread around us, contributing to environmental protection by our actions.
4. How did other local people help you to participate in this project?
Mostly we searched information online or in books, the school leaders, teachers and students gave us help and guidance during this process. The relevant county government department provides some information on low-carbon economy and low-carbon life for us and all students; many friends in community have participated in our practical activity of low-carbon outlook.
5.During the process of designing websites, what new discoveries, lessons and wonderful experiences did you have?
We have found it is not really easy to study a project further in the process of studying this activity.
We gradually deeply realized that low-carbon life is not far from us in the process of designing the web page. Actually each of us can do it at any time, at anywhere in our daily life. The Earth needs all of us to involve.
We also see that many people don’t have enough understanding of low-carbon now, so strengthening low-carbon publicity is no time to delay.
