The climate warming refers to the phenomenon of the increasing temperature of Earth and ocean in a period, which is mainly caused by human factors. The reason is probably due to the excessive emissions of the greenhouse gas.
From 1981 to 1990 the average global temperature increased by 0.48℃ than that of 100 years ago. The main reason results in global warming is in nearly a century human being use huge mineral fuels (such as coal and petroleum and so on), which emit enormous greenhouse gases such as co2. Because of these greenhouse gases allow short wave radiation from the sun to pass through them unabsorbed, while at the same time absorbing some of the long wave radiation reflected back to space that it is often said the "greenhouse effect", resulting in global warming. The amount of global warming predicted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) by 2011 is 1.4-5.8 Centigrade (2.5-10.4 Fahrenheit). According to this prediction the global temperature will have never been great change over the past ten thousand years and thus it will bring potentially significant impact to the global environment.
In the past 100 years, the average temperature in Chinese mainland has obviously increased with the annual average temperature increased by 0.8℃, which warming in winter is the most obvious and the change in summer is little. From 1951 to 2004 the annual average land surface temperature warming by about 1.3℃ in China, which is much higher than the global level of the same period. And it is also stronger than the average temperature warming trend in nearly 100 years, which the regions of the Northeast, North China, Northwest, northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and other regions are warming apparently.

1. The rapid growth of population The rapid growth of population in recent year is a mainly factor leads to global warming. At the same time, it also seriously threatens the balance between the natural ecological environments. Since such population, only its own emissions of carbon dioxide per year would be a staggering figure, and it will directly lead to increasing volume of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere continuously, so this kind of carbon dioxide "greenhouse effect" will directly affect the Earth's surface climate Change.
2. Atmospheric pollution At present, the worsening environmental pollution has posed a major global problem, and at the same time it is also one of the main factors leading to climate warming. Now, the research on climate change has clearly pointed out that the Earth's surface temperature has started to rise since the end of the last century.
3. The deterioration of the marine environment Currently, sea level changes have a continuous linear trend, according to the prediction of the experts that sea levels could rise 50cm by the middle of next century. If the corresponding measures are not taken, it will directly lead to adverse consequences such as the destruction and pollution of freshwater resources. In addition, a large number of toxic chemical waste and solid waste generated by the land-based places are continuously gone into the sea; the event of great oil leakage (leak) happened in the sea, and the environmental destruction in coastal areas caused by human activities results in a major factor of the destruction of marine ecological environment.
4. Land erosion, desertification and other destructive factors
5. The sharp decline of forest resources In the worldwide range, the forest area are dropping significantly due to the natural or man-made factors.
6. The hazards of acid rain The impact to the ecological environment caused by acid rain has be cared about more and more by the world. Acid rain can damage forests, acidify lakes, and endanger the creature. Currently, the acid rain is mainly occurred in Europe and North America which are mostly occurred in developed countries. And in some developing countries, acid rain is also rapidly occurred and developed.
7. The acceleration of the extinct species The creature on the Earth is a precious resource for human being, while the diversity of the creature is the base of human survival and development. However, the biological species on the Earth is disappearing at an unprecedented rate.
8. The water pollution According to the Global Environment Monitoring System Water Quality Monitoring Project showed that about 10% of the global monitoring river water has been polluted. Since this century, human water consumption is increasing rapidly, while the scale of water pollution is continuously expanding which forms a contradiction between the fresh water supply and demand. Thus, the treatment of water pollution is very urgent and important.
9. Toxic waste pollution The growing toxic chemicals not only seriously threaten human survival, but also harms the ecological environment of the Earth's surface.
