          The things we want to say

     The education on the left-behind children is a comprehensive systematic project. We hope:
     Government
      Firstly, the local economic development can be speeded up and to keep the abundant local labors in the rural area from being laid off, to achieve the local digestion of the labors and in these ways, the left-behind children will be reduced.
      Secondly, the social environment can be purified, such as strengthening the supervision over the school surroundings, especially over the internet bar, game room and video halls, for such undesirable social environments are of great attraction for the less self-controlled children who, once start to hang about in such places, will go astray easily.
      Thirdly, the system of high school and college entrance examinations as for the students from different locations can be improved, thus the left-behind children can be enrolled in schools in other cities or towns. So they can live together with their parents.
      Family
      Parents should look before they leap concerning working outside, and take more consideration of their children for whose future is actually much more important than money. It is better for one parent to stay at home to take good care of their children and provide them the essential living and study conditions. They may also bring their children with them and let them receive education there.
      Parents should bear in mind that they will take the responsibility should their children behave badly, rather than regarding it as only the school's obligation. Apart from providing tuition and study materials for children, parents also play a role as the teachers do in helping to build the children's minds and characters. Parents, therefore, should have a clear understanding of their own responsibility and shoulder it.
      School
      Create a healthy and progressive campus atmosphere and pay high attention to the students' psychological health education.
      Teachers should pay more attention, offer more encouragement and help to the left-behind children. For those who has long lived in the lonely shelf and lacked of parents' affection, teachers should make friends with them, take care of them and understand them, in order to reduce their sense of loneliness and keep them active and positive.
      In short, the issue of left-behind children is an inevitable and long term social problem in the development of Chinese socialist market economy. Due to many historical and realistic reasons, such situation will continue. And the left-behind children are a weak and special group in our economic and social structure. Thus they are worthy of gaining more attention, care and affection from the whole society.
