Protection of Four-tile Dance

Four-tile Dance has applied for intangible cultural heritage, but it is facing serious attack. Our local cultural bureau and governments has carried out a series of policies to protect it. They are as follows.

1、In 1986, when Four-tile Dance was listed in Folk Dance in Qinghai, relevant departments did a series of protection.

2、in 1996, Four-tile Dance ranked first in Shehuo Performance in Qinghai.

3、In 1997, Four-tile Dance was chosen as the main program in Datong Ten year ceremony. There were more than 60 students participating in the performance.

4、In 2002, on the startup of Datong Ethnic Group Sports Meeting, Four-tile Dance won the first place among all the programs.

5、In May of 2007, Four-tile Dance successfully applied as Qinghai intangible cultural heritage.

6、In Aug of 2007, Four-tile Dance was performed in Beijing, which was the mark of its new developing stage.

7、In 2007, Four-tile Dance was applied for national intangible cultural heritage.

1、 Mr. Chen Rong, the head of Datong Relics Bureau, has written many essays about the research of Four-tile Dance. He also published them on Stage Arts.

2、Mr. Li Hong-sheng, the head of Cultural Bureau, did a lot of work of editing material of Four-tile Dance, which was inductive for the development of this dance.
