Object & Purpose:
We expect more people know about Tu culture and protect it from continuing disappearing. And we hope our school can pay more attention to computer teaching especially the application of software. The students are expected to get information on the internet and practice what they learn in class.

What were your most valuable tools? Why?
Computer and digital camera are the most important tools. Without them we can not finish our work.
Which technologies were the most helpful? How?
Internet is the most useful technology. We can get a lot of valuable material on the internet.
In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.
During the interviews we arose many old people’s deep memory of Tu culture and make persons around realize the attractiveness of Tu culture. We believe our web can make more people pay more attention to and know about Tu culture and join us protecting it.
Visit and phone call are the main methods we adopt. We were moved that the old Tu people were very glad to tell us all they knew and linked others who knew more as we visited them. The local government also gave us a lot of support, providing some important material and encouraged and praised what we did. ?
What has been the impact of your project on your community?
Our project drew a lot of attention of the local people. They all thought it was a good opportunity to spread Tu culture and make the world know Datong.
How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?
Why?
We really appreciate the help from Taiwan Hualian Growth Center and Town and Talent.
Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)
We find the disappearance of Tu culture is very serious. The living habit of young Tu people is no difference from Han. Only a few old Tu people remain some Tu custom. Before the project, we always assumed the disappearance was began from Chinese opening and reform, but now we realized it began in the beginning of 1990s.
