It likes warm environment with enough sunlight. It has sword-shaped leavesand large bright flowers in dark purple, pure white, pink and pale purple. It is suitable to grow in a pot. It is resistant to low temperature and dry environment.
Littleleaf cinquefoil
It is less than five centimeters with five to seven little leaves. With the diameter of 12 to 22 millimeters, it is yellow in color and blooms in July or August. It is resistant to dry and cold environment.

Sainfoin
It is famous as the queen of forage. It has deep roots with the diameter of more than two centimeters. It likes cool and dry environment. It is resistant to the barren land.
  Other plants growing in the sand such as Chinese tamarisks also have great vitality. When they are buried in the sand, some new roots will grow to fix the sand. As the time goes by, a lot of roots can fix the sand of hundreds even thousands of cubic meters. The roots are usually more than ten meters which have strong ability to absort water.
  Different plants in the sand have different physical characteristics and different functions. It is meaningful to make researches on these plants.
