Instrument

In Quyi performance, the musical instruments are not fixed. The most common instruments are Sanxian, Yangqin, Banhu and Er’hu. If possible, Pipa, Zhongruan, and cello can be added. In different tunes, different instruments are used. For example, Sancun Cidie is used in Pingxian, Xiaopengzhong in Yuexian, Yugu and Jianban in Daoqing, and drum in Taipingge.
