Project
Summary
· Description
of "Our Community"
Ningxia, a beautiful and
rich land through which Yellow River runs 397 km, has mountains,
plain, rivers, grassland and lakes. It both has the delicate style
of Southern China and the straight forward character of the frontier
fortress. The West Xia Kingdom tomb is an important historic site
without which you can not fully comprehend Chinese history between
11th and 13th centuries. Our subject is Looking the Lost Kingdom.
We aim at study the tomb for a better knowledge of West Xia history
and make more people know about West Xia that was a magnificent
kingdom.
Our
subject is Looking for the Lost Kingdom. With the study at West
Xia tombs, Haibao Pagoda, Chengtian Temple Pagoda, 108 Pagoda
and murals in Helan Mountains, we want to discover the history
of West Xia and make more people know its history. In addition,
we expect to improve our teamwork spirit and gain more experience.
At the same time we'd like to thank the colleagues from Town and
Talent company for their help and support.
· Our Computer/Internet Access
Our school has 2M bandwidth
optical net and we have access to internet all day.
· Problems We Had to Overcome
1) We don't have ample time.
We are in 9th grade and have heavy study work. Spend all the spare
time in the project. But some teachers don't support us.
2) Because of tight curriculum
schedule, only in week end can we put the collected material on
the internet.
3) At first we knew nothing
about how to build the web, but we learned while was doing it.
And we shared experience with each other and we had a lot of fun.
4) We have no experience
of participating in such grand activity.
5) It is a big problem for
us to translate into English, fortunately Town and Talent offered
us help.
· Our Project Sound Bite
We insist our principle
of originating and get first hand material. It is unforgettable
that we waited in cold wind for bus for an hour to go to the sites.
We have hardship, wonderful memory and longing for the future.

due to the busy study, we had to do the work at noon break time
