The clean channel is covered with plastic rubbish. As the main water resource to capital, Jingmi Channel is threatened by pollution. It's said that the citizens at the bank of channel throw daily rubbish directly into the water in convenience. Mr. Wang-the head of Jingmi Channel Administration said that the rubbish on the water surface pollute the water. Every day, there are more than five trucks of rubbish clear out. In order to prevent discharge of rubbish, the Jingmi Channel Administration would install 18.5km guard net on the two sides of the channel.
