1、Description
of “Our Community” |
|
Wengyu ancient road got its name as it
located at the Hua Mountains. In history,
 Wengyu
was the only mountain road for people to pass to the
Shangluo of Shaanxi and Northern Hubei. The officers
leaving for their assignment and the merchants being in
business would come in or go out from here. This road
was renovated by Huayin County leaders of all dynasties.
Since ancient times, the dwellings in villages had been
built at the wide hinterland of valley hill. Keep
staying in the mountains, with the lamb, and stopped
work
at sunset, generations enjoy their wonderful lifestyles.
Wengyu
Valley Channel has a
lots of attractions along the
way, that includes
Wolongling, Longquan,
Guyuquan,
Tuoerwo, Zoucheya, Qishengkan,Fochagou,
Xiqiuxia,Gongmushan,Heshangmao
and SaiHuashan, the villagers call them as “Wengyu
Eight Views”. The rolling hills stand by both side
of road with crisscrossing waterways. Flowing river
is clear to see the bottom, ding-dong sounds all the
year round, How the beautiful natural scenery is! In
Wengyu, the weather is humid, and plants and
wildlife abounds. Especially during the spring and
summer, lush green slope, beautiful wildflower and
rare stone along the roadside add to the beauty.

Through the self exploration of students,
hands-on process,
using existing knowledge and experience to solve
problems in real life, feelings of autonomous learning
and independent thinking, bring the harvest, master
certain information technology basic skills; at the same
time, in the process of hands-on production of a page,
students in production, the course of visits, mutual
encouragement, communicate with
 each
other, not only to enhance the mutual friendship,
but also has the team spirit.
With the rapid
development of the tourism industry, attracting many
tourists, the
local economy has been driven, government has
invested a lot of money, to create a "urn Valley
Road". To make people more deeply understand that it
is a business, culture,
entertainment as one of the center. Through the
comparison of the old and new,
to understand the
local tourism development to promote the local
economy, and constantly enrich themselves in the
practice process.

3、Our
Computer and Internet Access |
|
There
is no computer in the home of students, so they have
to finish the work in the school. There are 40
computers in the computer room, we are able to
search information, input texts and deal with the
pictures.
|
|
Through the activities, we are more
in-depth understanding of the natural bathing
beaches with clean rocks and water. So a lot of
people came here for avoiding summer heat in summer.
Thought this project we knew a lot of historical
background about Wengyu, and felt the beauty of
mountains nature scenery, cultural attractions and
geological relic. According to the planning and
design program of Hua Mountain scenic area, the
Wengyu scenic area will be developed further to meet
the interests of those visitors in mind. |

Under the leadership of
teacher, we had the following work out

We did a lot of field work
for Cyberfair project under the leadership
of teacher. A lot of photos were taken by
students. Jiang Lei and
 Yang
fengyue was responsible for recording of the
conversation during interview.

report; summarizing and analyzing the

5、Our
Project Sound Bite |
|
 After
40 days hard work, we were happy obtaining good results
from no idea where to start at the beginning. During the
process of study, we knew Wengyu ancient road better. We
hope that Wengyu ancient road at the foot of Hua
Mountain have become known throughout the world by our
webpage.
We were never good enough to study project,
but under the guidance of the teacher, we
had the confidence to do better. We have done our best,
at least we knew that it needs a lot of processes from
the planning to begin collecting material, to make
website, finally released, through the joint efforts of
us, at the same time, in the production process, we also
learned a lot of knowledge which we never learned in
junior high school classroom.

6、How
did your activities and research for this CyberFair
Project support standards, required coursework and
curriculum standards?
|
|
 In
this activity, our school took "West Side Story" as a
comprehensive practice activity class, and there was a
class every week. In the current new curriculum reform,
in addition to the normal class, we were also advocated
to improve the study
and social practice,
 the purpose to participate in this
activity is to give us a good chance to practice. We
think it not only ensured our normal learning, but also
broaden our horizons, and pay attention to the
environment around in the spare time to collect, visit
and take pictures.
