Liangshan Monastery

Small Cave:: there is one cave, with the name of xiaochuan cave. This cave is at the middle of the cliff, with 100 meters to the bottom, and same to the top. We can go into the cave from the south. The cave is 1 meter in height and 5 meters in width with 30 meters in depth. All the visitors can see the view at cave gate with the sense of god cave.
　　 Both dachuan and xiaochuan cave are all natural. The arch are all through like a bridge. So the dachaun cave in the dachuancave is named : god bridge” xiaochuan cave are all spacious at the entrance but short as it goes in. standing at the gate, all the plain, field and mountains can be seen.

Marvel Scene of Jianmen-Liangshan Monastery

　　Liangshan temple, is locating at the ancient tree of the top of dajianshan. According to the <words>, liangshan, is also in the name of jianmenshan, gaoliangshan. With all the miles covering, with the mountains steep. The situation is very dangerous, as the fort since the ancient time. Also according to the < taipinghuanyuji>, take the liang shan as the ancient dajianshan. It is said that the liangwu king once practice the dao here. There is one temple at the top of dajianshan, so it is in the name of laingshan temple. This ancient temple is built at the early of the tang dynasty, enlarging the south song dynasty, and all renew in the following dynasty. In the temple, it is shining with the light remain and burning unstop.

　　North up 20li from jianmenguan, is the liangshan temple.
This temple is on the cliff of taohuafeng and xiaoyaofeng, named
sheshenya, 1180 meters up the horizon in the area fo 947.14
square kilometers. Sitting at the south and facing the north. As
before, the mountain gate, is hanging with the big words.: laing-
shansi in golden words. Right now, the big significant, the Buddha
figure has been ruined, but the temple is remaining. Nowadays,
we can also feel its previous scenery. The tree before the temple
is in same age of the ancient temple. This tree is clean, resisting
the bee and butterfly. If people use hand to touch, it may guard
by the leaves. She has her feeling to the Buddha by dancing and
smelling. The dialect on the temple says: the sweet smell outside
the door, all the flower over the face; talking about the Buddha
and the clear water in the pond reflecting the Buddha mind.

Clear water in the pond----- the waterfall on the top
WulongUnusual rock approve the Buddha--- wonderful wulong stone

Big Cave: is 2 kilometers away from the liangshan temple. It is all stone, with the shape as the arch in 50meters length and 20 meters width. At the face, the harvest is strong and full of the grass. When walk into it in spring and summer, we just feel the green sea. Under the bridge, it can be through like the hall containing hundred people.
The formation of the dachuan cave. There is one interesting legend. In the ancient time, there is always one devil at the jianmen mountain, disturbing the villager. Zhigong in liangshan temple, lead all his kids to pursue it. When they nearly catch it, the devil want to jump down to the cliff. Zhigong arrow him too hard , so it has a cave on the mountain, named, dachuan cave.

　　Lianshan temple sie , the best place to visit the cloud and fog is the wangyunping. When looking over, both da and xiaojian mountain has clouds and the pine sea; the green screen peak are quite and beautiful; sheshenya are steep and straight; jinghuangdong valley are deep and confusing. Daxiao chuan cave are all attracting.. all of them are attracting both the visitor home and abroad.

The God Expression of Sword Gate

Liangshan Monastery：Emperor Wu of dynasty(464-549)followed Monk Zhi Gong to become a monk.Zhi Gong pointed at the mountain with his finger and turned it into a monastery.Then the emperor could practice Buddhism at the top of the Liang Mountain.As soon as the emperor attained enlightenment,he returned to his palace.Thence the monastery took its name after the emperor.
