Grandpa
Liu looks very young in his 65 year old and full of
energy. We understood him more during the chatting with
him.

Grandpa Liu is
not only a calligraphist but also an educator. We don’t
think is an over appraisal for him at all. Grandpa Liu
told us that he used to be a teacher and he’d given 5
years’ education for all-round development before our
country proposed. He paid more attention on the
cultivation ability and learning methods in his class.
When he
talked about these, teacher Yan was shocked. Teacher Yan
said:“ I didn’t expected that in the west of China there
are still people like our Qian Xiang Wan Cai’s
founder—Mr. Wen Shi Ren, who is far-sighted and help the
poor western student silently. |

We
also found that grandpa Liu is also a supporter of
traditional culture. He felt very dissatisfied with the
fact that there is no calligraphy class in high school.
He said angrily :” the next generation will felt more
and more strange about calligraphy art if this situation
continues and we may also lost calligraphy art after
several generation, which is too bad

Grandpa Liu is also a kindly person and willing to help
others. After finding out that we three students have
strong interest in calligraphy art, he told us that he
could teach us calligraphy if we like. We were so
excited when hearing this. We decided to learn
calligraphy from grandpa Liu during our vacation.
