Qinghai Lake International Cycling Race

　　The Qinghai Lake International Cycling Race is the top-level cycling race in Asia, hosted by State General Administration of Sport, The State Administration of Radio Film and Television, Qinghai Provincial People's Government. It’s held annually and the classification is 2.5. The first race was held on July 27-August 3, 2002. There are 102 riders of 17 teams from Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, France, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, South Africa, Canada, Serbia, Korea, Germany, USA, China, Hong Kong, Taipei, Qinghai. The race covered 1302.5km in all. This race is specified for high altitude, high vertical distance and high classification. Nowadays, it has become the first-level sport competition in Qinghai Plateau.
