The process of fennel planting

When my schoolmates and I went to inquire the planting situation of fennel, it was nearly the harvest time, so we went to the local agricultural technology extension center, the staff there warmly told us the planting situation of fennel, which is as followed.

The fennel is an annual herb, with an entire period of duration of 150 days, salt alkaloid resistance, drought resistance, water and fat conservation and labor saving and so on, which was suitable to plant on sandy soil and light sandy soil.

      The fennel in Haiyuan Town, Xi’an County was mainly fertilized by DAP with an amount of approximately

      5-10kg/Chinese acre.

2.seeds processing and sowing

      cover, the width of sowing seeds 40-45cm, narrow row spacing 15-20cm. In every Chinese acre land, it had

      1.5kg seeds, maintains an adequate supply of seedlings from 45000 to 50000 and the average harvest number

       was 45000.

         The thinning, the weeding are the key section of field management. In mid-May unifies the weeding, farmers carry out the thinning, the distance between plants maintains 5~6cm; during the entire birth period, according to the damage situation of field weed to wipe out promptly.

         The fennel has major function for medicinal purposes and seasoning uses, commodity seed takes pale-green as superior; therefore, besides the land that remains for planting, harvest generally cannot be late, generally must harvest 7-10 days before ripe. The seed-bearing field may suitable to harvest late to allow the seeds to full mature.

How to cook fennel

          We went to the local peasant’s household to know how to cook fennel, they told us that the fennel’s nutritional value is very high. We learned how to used the fennel and flour to make the fried cake.

When everything is prepared, put a little oil in the pan, it’s better to to use non-stick frying pan, when one side was almost cooked, it must promptly turned at once, when both sides seems golden, it should be take out from pan in time! Great fire must avoid, it’s easy to focus! It’s simple and easy to make it, if you want to have a taste, take action!

          Fennel can use to release pain, balance stomach, anti-ulcer, analgesic and so on, fennel oil have varying degrees of antibacterial effect

        According to local farmers, if people have been bitten by a snake and the wound left rotten, cut the fennel into pieces and put on the wound.
