In 1955, the people's Government of Chaba Township and the Zhang Huai villagers went to the mountain to plant trees. You can see the marks about closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation, prohibit keeping cattle, mowing, picking firewood and so on on the mountain and road everywhere. In 1958, livestock farm was built, there was a certain scale at that time, there are more than 1000 cattle, sheep, chicken, duck, rabbit and so on. In 1962, Zhanghuai forest farm was built. With support and the strong care of Chaba Party committee and the people's government, under the leadership of the village mayor Qiu Guoli, through many years efforts of the people in Zhanghuai, the mountain pine has grown into a towering tree. In order to praise their behavior, they build a monument in the forest.
