Gourmet food event, Cultural diplomacy
On September 17, 2011, Asian cooking food festival was held in Ministry of Foreign Affairs which was organized by the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Nine Asian countries including China, India, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Indonesia showed the traditional cooking and cuisine, the local people participated actively and enthusiastically, atmosphere was warm. Asian Food Festival is the first time to hold "culture of ??the world" activity for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to help citizens understand the culture and traditions of the world, to understand the unique culture of the world, to develop diversity of world's culture.

Chinese Embassy in Ukraine attended food festival held by Uruguay Foreign Ministry
On April 30, 2011, on the ninth foreign embassies in Ukraine traditional culture and cuisine festival, the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine and part of Tashkent restaurants and Chinese-funded companies showed exquisite, traditional and representative Chinese cuisine to the guests. Meanwhile, through the show of Chinese handicrafts and background painting, display boards, promotional cards, as well as the live performances of carving and ramen, scene performances in the Ukrainian teachers of Chinese paper-cut and engraved certificates, to introduce the history of Chinese food, origin, constitute , as well as Chinese food and Chinese traditional Culture and affect each other. |

The stalls of various countries were put in the banquet hall, there were Japanese sushi, Indian curry, Singapore fried noodles, the castle diced chicken, as well as various foods which didn’t know names. Several ladies dressed in national costume were standing behind each booth, smiling and welcoming the guests while introducing their own national specialties. They are national female diplomat in London, they usually dressed in a suit and shrewd, but they are extraordinarily gentle today. |

Chinese chefs delegation visited 3 American states
At the end of 2011, commissioned by the State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Restaurant Group formed Chinese cuisine mission and took part in “the Chinese Cuisine goes to the world” which was launched by the State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, they were on behalf of the state to visit Panama, Dominican Republic, Mexico. Guangzhou Restaurant food group held 6 live Cantonese cuisine exhibition in the three countries, 2 Cantonese culinary training for Chinese food practitioners in three countries, fully demonstrate the rich food culture of Guangzhou Restaurant, they got high praise from our embassies, resident at the business agent, the local overseas Chinese and American peoples, and show the outlook with best mental, to safeguard the motherland's image. |
