The patterns for the Tu embroidery are mainly Eight Treasures and auspicious, also flowers and animal pictures. The embroidery patterns are famous for the fine work—delicate, exquisite, gorgeous and exuberant.
The Tu embroidery is also rich in contents, take the patterns on the bosom as example, there are “spinning Charles's Wain,”“Catharanthus roseus,”“Diagram” and other religious patterns. The Tu girls begin to study embroidery at the age of eight or nine until the marriage age or even through the whole life span, and they are proud of doing that.

On the bellybands full of folk savor, they would be embroidered patterns such as "Peacock playing with peony," "Pomegranate," "Sparrow visiting plum," "Lion rolling embroidery ball" and the other; while on the colorful embroidery clothes, tailor's cushion and sachet, they would be embroidered with peach, peony, bergamot and other auspicious and blessed patterns.
