 Two
senior artists, Mr. Zhang Ke-qin(78 years old, from Zhongchuan Town) and
Mr. E Yong-tai(80 years old, also from Zhongchuan Town) introduce Dagangzi
for us.
There
are four basic action of Dagangzi, including Toudao, Jiadao, Sadao and
Rengdao.
Gangzi
is the stick, which was used as weapons by soldiers in ancient war times.
In the history, soldiers used the sticks as the same as the four basic
actions.
The
performers of Dagangzi stand in the front of queue of Huishou Dance. |
 In
the performance of Datou and “Good news announcement”, the participants
change their arrays continuously, including one line array, two-lines and
even four lines. In the process, the drums are beaten loudly. The array
shows Turkish ancestors’ courage and wisdom in warning period. As there
is no word record in Tu language, they inherit valuable experience by dance,
which also warns the offsprings not to forget past. |
