According
to the words from local elders and records in “Annuals of Xiji County”,
in Qin and Han dynasty, forest overlays reach to above 35%, there
ever has been the beautiful prospects of "when breeze blowing
lawn down, cow and sheep appear". Until Song dynasty, Xiji
County has large forest. Since Song and Ming Dynasty, cultivating
area gradually extend, the natural herding grass plants encounter
breakage. In Ming Dynasty, most parts of the area are pasture area.
Since Yongzheng period in Qing dynasty, planting develops rapidly,
the population quickly increases and over chopping down in disorder
immediately increases. Since 1949, with increasing of population,
the antinomy becomes very outstanding and the ecosystem environment
is extremely worsened.

October, our flower flew young team all the way arrive at Guyuan
ancient city in Ningxia happily singing and joking.It is regret
that we have not see panorama of ancient city. Before us, it is
break wall of damaged site in this ancient city.
The Guyuan ancient city is known in China and overseas. From 31
AD to 1933 A.D., more than ten military wars take place successively
in Guyuan ancient city and a damaging one happen in Donghan Dynasty
once.
Looking up at the broken walls of damaged site in ancient city,
it is the only "city memory", including endless diligence
and intelligence of people in the history process: the nitric smoke
rise everywhere, country broken up, the people find it hard to live
on, pastoral shabby, hungry everywhere, bleed to die everywhere.
The cruel heartless war breaks the environment we rely on for existence.
As a youth generation, we should keep firmly in mind historical
