It is significant that Tsongkhapa built Gandan Hall in order to
promote his reform.

Time: 2005-11-9
Participants: Li Yulong
Activity: Nearly in every hall one can see the statue of Tsongkhapa
who is believed the reincarnation of Shakyamuni. What makes him
so prominent that people remember him forever? I think it is simply
because he has kind, philanthropic heart and persistently strives
for the unification and development of nation and people. I believe
anyone who wants to make achievements must be of confidence and
perseverance.
Subject: Never bend to frustration
Time: 2005-11-11
Participants: Li Yulong
Facing with frustration, people generally adopt two attitudes. One
is to bend to it. As frustration comes along, some people look for
pretexts, for example, imputing poor scores to the difficult questions,
accident caused by carelessness to machine’s lousy function. Some
feel depressed and desperate and waste their lives in a negative
attitude. The other is to struggle against the frustration. Those
adopting this attitude are fearless and analyze the reason of failure.
They strive to overcome the difficulties and can finally realize
their dreams. Beethoven and Edison are good example of this kind.
They should be our idols we imitate. Although we come across some
difficulties at present, we will spare no efforts to overcome them
and successfully complete this project.
Subject: We are living for learning
Time: 2005-11-14
Participants: Zhao Shengxiang
Activity: I believe I can learn a lot by taking part in the project.
Usually, I seldom use computer for having no access to it. I feel
very pleased proud that I can join the team to build a website.
It doesn’t matter if we can get any award and the point is that
we can learn something totally new for us. People are living for
learning not honor. More important is that I can hand down what
I have learned to our schoolmates for the next Cyber Fair.

up their benefaction. An article issued by People’s Consultant Committee
on Dec.10, 1997 pointed that Ta’er Monastery had attracted 6.8 million
yuan, donated 140,000 yuan to disaster areas and 200,000 to schools
and poor areas in Qinghai and other provinces. This benefaction
is not strange for us, because Town and Talent has done a lot of
beneficial things to our schools. And the good deeds encourage us
to study harder and harder and contribute to the public and our
society. We will carry forward this spirit as much as we can.

today is soon to be away from us and what we can do is to make best
use of it and fully prepare for tomorrow.
Subject: Buddhist debate

Participants: Li Yulong
Activity: Debate is a kind of test in Ta’er Monastery. Compared
to paper test, debate not only tests for your knowledge but also
for your ability of flexible utilizing the knowledge. It is transparent
and very special. If a monk wants to achieve higher degree, he must
debate with the monk with higher degree. Similarly, as for study
a strong competitor deserves respect and you can learn a lot from
him. We know there are a lot of schools compete in the Fair and
although we may do not have condition as good as theirs and we believe
our school can turn out better and better works in the competition.
Subject: More haste less speed
Time: 2005-12-6
Participants: Li Yulong
Activity: More haste less speed is a saying of good reason. Here
is an example of mine. Once I wanted to catch one of my favorite
TV programs and finished my homework hurriedly. And I made a lot
of faults and had to redo it. So we should speed up our tasks in
a proper way.
Subject: I want to say……
Time: 2005-12-8
Participants: Zhao Shengxiang
Activity: After school, Li Yulong, Liu Zhanwen and I went to interview
an old man for history of Ta’er Monastery. When I came home, it
was very late and I saw my father waiting for me at the entrance
of the alley, shaking and rubbing his hands for coldness. His gray
hair reminded me he was over 50. At that moment I was so touched
that I rushed to him and said ‘Dad, I…...’ I didn’t know why I didn’t
speak out what I wanted to say ‘I love you’. Now I know this kind
of love is needless to express in language.

contains intelligence of the folk artists and its characteristic
construction style has been know in the world. The butter sculpture
was brought to Ta’er Monastery in Ming Dynasty. After a long history
and the monks untiring research and improvement, the butter sculpture

tempered by this lecture.

Time: 2005-12-26
Participants: Ma Youzhong

style of Ta’er Monastery. The magnificent Huge Silver Pagoda is
11.26 meters high and enshrined with gild-plated statue of Tsongkhapa.
The Big Kitchen was built in Qing Dynasty and has five huge crude-iron
pots. They can provide tea and porridge for 3,000 monks in grand
ceremonies. We can realize the high standard of then iron cast.
In addition we also found some beautiful Tibetan knives and decoration.
Subject: Being inspired
Time: 2005-12-28
Participants: Ma Youzhong
Activity: I learned that it is very difficult for the monks to get
a degree. Accept for efforts, they also need money. Some monks just
get one degree after struggling for a whole life. It reminds me
that a lot of successful people have gone through many hard times
and never give up. It inspires me that should not lose confidence
just because of several times of poor exam performance.
Subject: Summary
Time: 2005-12-31
Participants: Cao Yuanzhang, Liu Fagang,Tang Liang, Ma Guicai, Li
Yulong, Zhao Shengxiang, Ma Youzhong, Dong Shengfa, Liu Zhanwen

sites and its three characteristic artworks butter sculpture, fresco
and embroidery after referring to books Legend of Ta’er Monastery,
Lovely Huangzhong, Holy Place and Holy Ta’er Monastery. From internet

Subject: I wanted to cry at that moment
Time: 2006-1-4
Participants: Ma Guicai
Activity: At noon, we were informed to have a meeting. We thought
we had new tasks and felt very excited. At usual time we have no
