Eight Pagodas
Every pagoda is
6.4 meters high and base is 5.7㎡. After repairing in 1991, the
eight pagodas have become a whole. The pagodas have paintings
and Tibetan Buddhist characters. They were built in 1776 Qing
Dynasty.
The pagodas were built for commemorating Sakyamuni’s eight important
events.
Julian Pagoda for Sakyamuni learning walking for the firs time.
Sidi Pagoda for Sakyamuni rolling Sidi prayer wheel for the first
time.
Peace Pagoda for Sakyamuni stopping monks’quarrel.
Bodhi Pagoda for Sakyamuni becoming Buddha.
Shenbian Pagoda for subduing the devils.
Jiangfan Pagoda for Sakyamuni returning human world.
Victory Pagoda for Sakyamuni’s victory against all the devils.
