Pucheng Shiyangdao opera has a long history. It originated in the Tang Dynasty, drama originator Tang Xuanzong Li Longji believed Taoism, in order to strengthen the channel teaching and preaching, he edit all the books to songs, so it was named Daoqing. In thehundred years of Tang Dynasty, Taoism was popular, Daoqing show was very active. After Tang, artists scattered in the cemetery near the Daoqing ferry terminal Pucheng Shiyang area, in thousands of years of history, form unique Shiyangdaoqing.
       Pucheng Daoqing script has "God opera" and "music" two kinds. The tune hasQingjiangyin, got hoist with money, high tune and Dahongpao, bitter Acacia, cry plate, smileplate, falls the sentence eighteen tunes; the "chime" singing is significantly different from the other features of the opera; the musical accompaniment is mainly classical music string, by a total of eight people to control nine kind of palm music. However, Yugu, jianban, sancaiban are unique.
      In July 1956, Shiyangdaoqing went to Weinan area to show “gemenxian”, which caused a sensation, won the first prize. In October 1984, Shiyangdaoqing showed “Zayandeng”, won the second prize of Shaanxi province. In February 22, 2002, in CCTV "world village" program, a group of five came in "Shi Yang village recorded “fengpaozi", "Tuernaofang","Baishou" and other traditional programs, in April 3, 2006, in CCTV "around the Chinese" column, Shiyang village Daoqing group was interviewed again.
