Sichuan pickles-->Cooking-->Pick up vegetable and cut vegetable
 

In order to do the research into the process of pickled cabbage made, our team decided to personally experience the whole process of making pickled cabbage. The teacher contacted a family near the school for us, whose owner Uncle Yang was willing to teach us how to make sauerkraut. Early in the morning, we came to the home of Mr.Yang, he explained the basic steps of making sauerkraut to us at first, and then began to lead us to begin the operation.

 

Uncle Yang told us, the quality of pickled vegetables is related to that of the selected vegetables.Fresh cabbage, radish dishes and rape should be chosen. We, following Uncle Yang , came to his garden, which was a slice of field that was planted kiwi and radish. He taught us to pick the leaves, we must pick the outer leaves of seedlings , and the core of the plants must not be hurt,because it would lead it to die. In Uncle Yang's guidance, we picked a big bag of leaves in a short time. This process was easy, but Uncle Yang said that there was more hard work to do. After we took the vegetables back, we began to choose the fresh ones, remove the old roots, of course, we should also pick up the weeds in the vegetables.

Next, Uncle Yang taught us how to cut the vegetables . Obviously, he was very skillful, the vegetables were cut in the same size in a short time. When it was our turn to operate, the knife lost control, and the vegetables were not uniform. In Uncle Yang's guidance, we finally got some essentials, and we did more quickly ,but we all felt tired less than ten minutes, so the four of us took turns , finally all the vegetables were cut before lunch.
