Lu Huiqing, was born in 1957, come from Yanjia Village, Nanzhai Township, QIanyang County. She didn’t go to school; stay at home to learn embroidery, paper-cut from her mother when she was young. Her works were made for the local festivals, weddings, birthday and other folk activities with full moon at the beginning. It can be said that it is a kind of custom in the local, every household will hang some cloth, paper cutting or embroidery, it is a symbol of good luck, and it can expel evil, bless the family safe and bless the longevity of the elderly. Even though she had no knowledge, she also can make the five elements gossip these China philosophy things, and put these things in a very ordinary embroidery, cloth and paper cutting. The woman who just has a baby should put a cloth frog on the head of the bed, and it should be embroidered with” five poison animals”, the frog represents the pregnant woman, five poison animals (snake, spider, scorpion, centipede and toad) represents immunity to all poisons, the purpose is to protect the heath of child and mother.

       Lu Huiqing’s embroidery, cloth and other paper-cut works are vivid, exaggerated, and with fine workmanship, color collocation is exquisite and imaginative; her paper-cut works are skillful, she even does not need draft and cut it directly, so it forms a very unique personal style. In 1984, her paper-cut works "Sun Bird", "Zodiac signs" got the first prize in the city of Baoji paper-cut exhibition; in 1987, embroidery fabric works "Wudu frog pillow", "Wudu Bagua mirror" and "Wudu vest" won the first, second and third prize in twenty-first national tourist souvenirs competition; in 1998, the creation of "big lion" was selected for posting printed posters by the French&Chinese Culture Festival". She had ever gone to show in France, America, Germany, Australia and other countries with the Chinese cultural team, and won a wide range of international reputations.
