2)、In
what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair
project both on-line and in person.
The
activity of interview on spot, we got to know our hometown characteristics,
and enhance homeland sense of pride. We are gradually getting in on the
cause of embroidery. We no longer think of
ourselves as interviewers or outsiders. We went to interview as the masters
of the homeland that we are. We try our best to promote more people to care
and support the continuation of the traditional crafts.
3)、What
has been the impact of your project on your community?
A、By Cyberfair Project,
we need to do something to have more people participate in our research,
promote homeland embroidery and attract more people to pay attention to the
continuation of the traditional crafts.
B、By our project research website to promote Qianyang embroidery, we want
more and more people to come to our town, and to buy traditional crafts for
giving a nice boost to the local economy.
4)、How
did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and
volunteers?
The
leader of the county cultural administration department accepted our
interviews, and provided us with materials. Leaders and teachers from
Qianyang County vocational middle school helped us contact Xiuping
Embroidery Shop, where we got research materials. School leaders provided us
funding and vehicle support.
5)、Discoveries,
Lessons and Surprises
We did not learn much about homeland
embroidery until we did this
project research. We were impressed when we watched many vivid embroidery
works, folk artists highly adept in embroidery. The expert introduced
splendidly that we only knew homeland embroidery is exquisite, and has a
profound cultural background and achievement. We are expected to get more
people to join the throng of embroidery lady, as it continues to pass along
from one generation to the next.
