Brief introduction on Tianzhou Ancient Tower |

The Tianzhou Ancient Tower,also called Yaofu tower, is located in willow woods 1 kilometer from Yaofu Town. The tower presents hexagon flat surface, with 38 meter height, and 7.5 meter diameter at the toeer bottom. It has door on both southand north, a pair of scrolls on the south wall. Like a pillar supporting sky,Yellow River on the east side and predicting lucky,The only mark stanan ancient cooking vessel out from the ground, west screen and orchid moun-tain. Also a pair of scrolls on the north wall: Soar to the skies the Chu solemn Zhi Yang peeps to feel road and hurtle the color appeal of Han Rao to ascend to look down wrong path. The scrolls calligraphy is emollient, neat and clean.“Tianzhou Ancient Tower”carved in stone plaque at the tower door. Tile,rafter, head, head arch with pendu-lous lotus flower head carved at eaves like genuine ones. Decorations also contain statue of Buddha, person story. These brick carves are extremely keen,the crafts are refined,
unusually elegant, displaying superb technical skills.The structure of the tower is novel and interest-ing.Thestyle is very special. in the tower. Around the tower uses water, there is catchment system to promise no seeper
in rainy days. The ancient tower has a history of more than
1,000 years. During 1,000 years, the tower has experienced more than 100 earthquakes, and successively battle fire, utmost viciss-itudes of life. Afterwards, it is rebuilt at the 48th of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. In 1980, Pingluo government carries on maintaining. It is regards as the point cultural object in 1985. |
