In the last moment of the Long March, Mr. Wu He-man lost connection
with the armies and lived in Guyuan for 71 years. He worked
as herdsman and carpenter. When he was nearly 40, he married
with a widow and then did farm work at home. Although he didn't
have his own sons, his grandson and granddaughter-in-law treated
him very well.
Mr. Wu He-man is an aged man, but he is good in health. Everyday,
he sings a Long March song and tells a story to his granddaughter-in-law.
