From Jul 1 to 7, the “Journey of Hope”, postgraduates from School of Electronic Information Engineering, Tianjin University worked as volunteer teachers in Badaogou Middle School, Hebei Province.

With the help of TTT and Shangyi government, 6 postgraduates and their guider, Mr. Liuqiang carried out a series of activities in Badaogou Middle School, including conversation and lectures about campus life, job-plan, mathematics, music and English; visiting campus facilities and students’ families; communication with students in their dormitories and etc. those activities greatly enhance local students’ desire for college life. At the end, many students wrote letters to volunteer teachers. At the same time, volunteers did agricultural research, learned agricultural development and reviewed the implementation of national agricultural policy. They founded social practice base in Badaogou Middle School, where they would carried out long term young volunteers’ project of supporting education and agriculture.
